About Home Watch of Texas
Home Watch of Texas, a home watch company, was founded by Tim and Katie Mangan to serve Kerr County and Gillespie County which includes the cities of Kerrville and Fredericksburg. We have been residents of the Hill Country for many years. We also, simultaneously, had a residence in a northern state. We know, firsthand, the difficulties encountered when away from one home or the other. After being away, then coming home we never knew what we would encounter. We have had flooded basements, pest infestations and even had our front door kicked in by burglars. I knew there had to be a better way.
Eventually we hired a local real estate company to periodically check on our home. They did their best, but their first mission was to sell homes and not always check on our property so, although it was better than nothing, we still had anxiety. Eventually we sold our Wisconsin home and lived full time in the Hill Country.
The real solution to being away from home, and not having stress and anxiety, is to have a home watch company that is dedicated to watching your home. Home watch is what we do, it is all we do!
Tim and Katie Mangan owned and operated a retail furniture and flooring business for more than 3 decades. We know how to deliver service. We also know the value of communication and trust. Our motto has always been “If we say it, we do it”
Home Watch of Texas is member of the National Home Watch Association and is a fully accredited, insured and bonded home watch company.

We Have Been There
We maintained a residence in another state and traveled extensively throughout the USA. For a time we had a residence in one state and another in Texas. We have come home to flooded basements, downed trees and even had our home broken into. We eventually contracted with a home watch company to watch our home. Only then did we experience how freeing it was to have our property looked after while we were away.

This is not a side business, Home Watch of Texas is our only business. There are no other distractions to divert our attention from your home. Exceeding our customer’s needs is our only focus. Whether it is one of our services like home watch, concierge service, key holder or any other service that we provide, ensuring our customers best interest is what we do. It is all we do!

the art technology to achieve this level of security. All keys, gate codes and alarm codes are physically and digitally separate. Keys are numerically coded and never associated with a name or address. We also use QR code encryption to keep all of our home watch company clients’ information secure.
