In our first visit with our client, we establish the parameters that future inspections will follow.  We learn how the homeowner wants his HVAC settings, circuit breaker settings, whether water is to be shut off at the street etc.  With the client’s permission we photograph all walls, inside and out, and all furnishings of the home for insurance purposes.  This establishes third party legal proof of condition and contents of the house.  Our reports contain photos that are date and time stamped, and location is established via GPS Geo fencing.  Each report is owned by the client and may be used in negotiating an insurance claim. 

Your weekly or bi-weekly home watch visit will include a detailed report, including pictures and descriptions of what we observe.  Our reporter starts on the outside checking all windows and doors.  He or she will observe and report on landscaping, pools and spas.  Once inside your home, we walk the perimeter of each room searching for signs of roof leaks, signs of mold and pest intrusion.  The reporter will check humidity and temps in all rooms, check for leaks under sinks in cabinets, check for dripping faucets, shower heads and running toilets.  We run all faucets and flush all toilets. The reporter creates a report that is unique to each home and uploads it directly to the customer.  We do so much more so please ask us for details.       

We believe in the word “YES”.  Yes, to running basic errands for things like a grocery or dry-cleaning pick-up prior to a customer’s return.  Yes, to be there to manage deliveries.  Homeowners can be sure that Home Watch of Texas will, if possible, meet normal requests and special requests are also welcomed.  We will work with you to accommodate based on our expertise and insurance coverage.
